St Rita Charity is a U.S.-based, IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting single parents and their children through practical aid and compassionate guidance. Since 2014, we’ve focused on meeting essential needs quickly and respectfully—so families can breathe easier and move forward.
Our Mission
To uplift single-parent households with direct assistance, resource connections, and encouragement—reducing hardship, strengthening resilience, and creating safer, more stable homes for children.
Why We Do It
Emergency Essentials
Groceries, diapers, formula, hygiene items, school supplies, and transportation vouchers.
Stability Support
Small, one-time grants toward rent, utilities, or urgent bills (as funds allow).
Navigation & Referrals
Warm handoffs to local shelters, legal aid, workforce programs, and counseling.
Community Drives
Seasonal backpack drives, holiday gift support, and coat/blanket collections.
No traditional public events such as galas, fundraisers, or community celebrations have been listed online.
No programs titled or branded as “signature events” were found on their site or publicly indexed.
